Happy Birthday

This is a card I created for my husband's birthday tomorrow. This card fits the challeng over at Stampin' Royalty who are also having a birthday - their 1st. Happy Birthday. The image is from Digi Doodles and I love these little hillbilly band guys. Keeping it masculine meant I had to forgo my love of glitter for this one time.......

Peekaboo!

The challenge at Stamp Something and PaperCrafting is to use a digi stamp. I am using this cute little digi from Karen's Doodles. I absolutely love this image and it can be done is so many ways and used for many different occassions.

Let It Snow

I can't remember where this image came from but it's just perfect for a snowy theme. I coloured with copic markers and used Decoart Snow Writer for the snow effects. I used my cricut to cut out the christmas trees and the Poinsettia and used a glue pad and some glitter to add some sparkle.

Another favourite colour

I did another card for my favourite colour for the Phindy Challenge. My favourite colour (this favourite changes from day to day - I love using all colours) is browns and beiges. I love this image and have had it for some time and this is my first attempt at colouring it in. Such a peaceful scene. I used a chocolate brown for the base and kraft for the loopy square. I added some ink to the top cardstock embossed with my cuttlebug and added some copper luster rub ons. I created more flowers using the tutorial from Cec and am having great fun with these. I added a little velvet bow.

Cardathon

Phindy is having a cardathon for 1000 phollowers here

This is my first easel card and I really enjoyed it. Wasn't as hard as I imagined it would be and Cec gave wonderful directions. I used a Phindy image and lots of bling - what's a little girl without bling?

Phindy's Challenge #28 - Favourite Colour

The challenge at Phindy's is to use your favourite colour. I love black and white. It is so simple and yet can be so elegant. I am in need of starting some Christmas cards so decided to use this image that I love. The background paper is from DCWV Glitter Pack. It is very glittery - hope that it comes across in the picture. I have added a sentiment from TLC creations. I have used my cricut to create the die cut. The die cut is a freebie from Penny Duncan. I coloured with copics and added some Diamond Dust for the snow. Looks so pretty. The flowers are prima and I have distressed them with black soot ink and added some stickles and a black pearl. I hope you can see the layer of silver paper.

Wow I haven't posted anything in forever. Charlotte was born on August 28th and I have been busy trying to keep up with scrapbooking the ton of pictures we are snapping of her. She's quite adorable as you can see. I don't seem to be able to scrapbook pages and do cards as well. hmmmmm. I'll have to see if I can get a good picture of a scrapbook page.
