Happy Birthday
This is a card I created for my husband's birthday tomorrow. This card fits the challeng over at Stampin' Royalty who are also having a birthday - their 1st. Happy Birthday. The image is from Digi Doodles and I love these little hillbilly band guys. Keeping it masculine meant I had to forgo my love of glitter for this one time.......
Peekaboo!
The challenge at Stamp Something and PaperCrafting is to use a digi stamp. I am using this cute little digi from Karen's Doodles. I absolutely love this image and it can be done is so many ways and used for many different occassions.

Let It Snow
I can't remember where this image came from but it's just perfect for a snowy theme. I coloured with copic markers and used Decoart Snow Writer for the snow effects. I used my cricut to cut out the christmas trees and the Poinsettia and used a glue pad and some glitter to add some sparkle.

Another favourite colour
I did another card for my favourite colour for the Phindy Challenge. My favourite colour (this favourite changes from day to day - I love using all colours) is browns and beiges. I love this image and have had it for some time and this is my first attempt at colouring it in. Such a peaceful scene. I used a chocolate brown for the base and kraft for the loopy square. I added some ink to the top cardstock embossed with my cuttlebug and added some copper luster rub ons. I created more flowers using the tutorial from Cec and am having great fun with these. I added a little velvet bow.

Phindy's Challenge #28 - Favourite Colour
The challenge at Phindy's is to use your favourite colour. I love black and white. It is so simple and yet can be so elegant. I am in need of starting some Christmas cards so decided to use this image that I love. The background paper is from DCWV Glitter Pack. It is very glittery - hope that it comes across in the picture. I have added a sentiment from TLC creations. I have used my cricut to create the die cut. The die cut is a freebie from Penny Duncan. I coloured with copics and added some Diamond Dust for the snow. Looks so pretty. The flowers are prima and I have distressed them with black soot ink and added some stickles and a black pearl. I hope you can see the layer of silver paper.
Magnolia and Flowers
This is the card I created for a couple of challenges. I used my this magnolia image that I just love. The theme for the Just Magnolia challenge was to think pink as October is breast cancer swareness month and finding a cure would be awesome. Cancer touches everyone. The Wild Orchid challenge is to use pastels. The 7 Kids College Fund Challenge is to use flowers, layers and an image from their store.
I have used the Justrite stamp that I finally bought yesterday. I have been drooling over these for a long time and managed to get one yesterday at LSS. The flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid. The die cut was done on my cricut and my little girl is coloured with copics. The background paper is from Me and My Big Ideas. I used some stickles and a pearl pen to add pearls to the top of her tiara.

New Granddaughter - Charlotte Hope
Wow I haven't posted anything in forever. Charlotte was born on August 28th and I have been busy trying to keep up with scrapbooking the ton of pictures we are snapping of her. She's quite adorable as you can see. I don't seem to be able to scrapbook pages and do cards as well. hmmmmm. I'll have to see if I can get a good picture of a scrapbook page.

Troublemaker!
This image is from Kenny K's Krafty Girlz. This is for 3 challenges
Kenny K's - pastels
Wild Orchid Challenge - Say it with Flowers - and who doesn't love their flowers
Crafters Digital Art Center - Sketch Challenge
Wow this is the first time I`ve actually made a card that fits into 3 challenges. The image is coloured with copics with the most pastel mauves I could find. The ice cream has some stickles to give some added bling. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid. I added a bit of crystal effects to her lips to make it look glossy. This little troublemaker image was such fun to colour and using pastels definitely took me out of my comfort zone.
